Developed by Aitomatic in collaboration with partners in the AI Alliance (including Meta, AMD, IBM, Yale University, and the University of Tokyo), SemiKong aims to accelerate the development and market launch of new chips by up to 30%

  • Domain Expert Agents (DXAs): These smaller LLM agents are trained on a client company's technical libraries or expert knowledge, allowing them to automate development tasks and provide chatbot-style communication with engineers.

  • Performance: SemiKong outperforms general-purpose LLMs in semiconductor-specific tasks, reducing time-to-market for new chip designs by 20-30% and improving first-time-right manufacturing scores by 20%.

  • Learning curve: It also speeds up the learning curves of new engineers by up to 50%, helping them quickly access specialized knowledge

Arm designs the blueprints for chips that power many of the world's devices, while Qualcomm builds and sells those chips, especially for smartphones.
